Here's some pic's of my 83 engine bay. What ya think? I have a home made Volt regulator from a 60's Chrysler.

switched a few wires and it cost me under $10

I also have a switch to break the circuit to the generator. it gives me a bit of extra power when the battery doesn't need to be charged " like going up hills"

the Gen can load the motor down quite a bit!
