Although it states up to 87 in fact 1988 EZGO fitted the BV 24 and in 1989 reverted back to the BV 18 (you can check by looking on your carburetor.
That said if I had to choose between this kit at $62 and a new carburetor at $99, I think I would choose the new BV 18.
