I have these two pictures I sent to members that I thought belong in this thread.
The first one shows the inside of the MCOR double-butterfly micro-switch, it helps understand why when the switch fails on a single side (broken spring), because the two sides are in series, the entire switch can go from working several times in a row to not working for several times in a row, depending on which tab the lever on the broken side is touching.
