This was my 1988 Yamaha G2, serial # was right under the drivers Butt,in front of the Battery,on the cross member by the floor, and yes it too had back-up buzzer, till i got the wire cutters out,alarm was over the transaxle , you really just need to locate the serial # thats the tell tale, not guessing..
