I'm sorry for laughing, but, a lot of us have done that... and it's definitely something to remember!
It's not really positive crankcase pressure, it's more of a really good "oil splash" design!
The "gurgling" in the pulse line to the pump is somewhat normal,
2 things to check...
~make sure your oil isn't overfilled, (it probably isn't anymore!
)
~and make sure that the pulse line doesn't have a "dip" in it for oil to collect in it!
The upper fuel filter will only fill 1/2 way until you've run it long enough for it to extract the air trapped in it.
The lower fuel filter should fill
almost all of the way, again... until you've run it long enough!
The first thing I would check is spark at the spark plug,
and... if it's wet with fuel or not!
IF... you have spark, but a dry spark plug... disassemble, and clean the carburetor!
IF... you don't have spark and a wet spark plug, you may have another issue from a bad microswitch, to a coil!
Checking the compression wouldn't be a bad idea either... it should run around 150 to 165 psi at wide open throttle!
