okay, so here is the problem... your ezgo cart has a throttle input signal of 5K-0 ohms that it sends to the controller as you press the peddle. This is how the controller knows what position the gas peddle is in and how much amperage to release to the motor.....
Club car used 0-5k ohms for the same process. You guessed it
you got the wrong controller with a 0-5K ohm input
