I'm going thru the registration process to get a CA green sticker and title for my 84? gas marathon. DMV sent me to CHP for a VIN verification. Was back to DMV today to finish with VIN verification complete. DMV wouldn't complete my reg. because CHP didn't verify the year of the cart... he wrote "YR determined by owner". I can't look it up now on shopezgo with the serial number. I want to be able to tell the officer how to look up the year, so I can just move on with this. Manual code is C3184. Any ideas?
