Red and green wire are the charge coil wires. If you have power 12 volts negative and 12 volts positive at the starter and it wont turn over, take it apart and check the brushes before the armature gets damaged! Brush set 40.00 to 45.00, new armature 105.00! Just a note, when you take the starter apart, DO NOT breath that dust, it's just plain NASTY.
