Actually yes you can go wrong with too much torque in aluminum blocks as the motor heats up the head and block expand at a greater rate thean the steel bolts and the result is increased pressure on the threaded materials. If these bolts are torqued too tight to begine with then they could strip or pull ouot when expanding.....
