The thermistor is not on the logic board and it is not visible in any of your pictures. It attaches to the aluminum heat-sink with a screw. There are two small wires that connect the thermistor to the end of the logic board. I assume you have already disconnected those wires. Measure the resistance between those two wires being careful not to let your fingers interfere with the resistance measurement. If the thermistor fails, it will cause the current limit of the controller to be reduced. If it measures high or low just replace it on the logic board with a fixed resistor (47K or 51K).
