I have a Melex 252. I really like the body style but modification parts are hard to find. Essential parts such as accelerator switch parts and motors are still available. They can still be maintained but hard to upgrade.

I completely rebuilt my acelerator switch and contacts, and used 4 gauge wire to do it with. It runs great now. I am thinking about selling it or parting it out now that I am trying to get a newer cart.

Long story short, you can keep them running but you need to be hand in the shop to do it.
