Sergio, thank you for jumping on board. I am not an electrical guy at all, so I appreciate the help.

Before and without the diode in place, I am getting 138 ohms of resistance between the small posts. I don't know what that means but I am guessing it should be close to zero and I should get a new relay???

Suggestions? Maybe from Mouser? I have a 36 volt system
