Weight removal really doesn't help much.....they designed the cart to run on a golf course at 12-13 mph.
The rough budget earlier included upgrade to 48v, new 2ga cables, and new controller and solenoid. So assuming your mechanically inclined and can do all this work yourself, we had you up to about 17 mph.
There is more speed to be gained at that point, but you have to spend more money.
Changing the body isn't that bad..........
