Default Re: ITS Throttle Sensor Testing

There are a couple guys trying to come up with a bench test for an ITS sensor, but there is more to an ITS throttle than just the sensor.

There are three parts to the system and two of the three parts are within the controller.
1. Power Source. (Controller)
2. Current/Voltage measuring circuit. (Controller)
3. Proximity detector. (ITS sensor and plunger)

Since the Controller provides the power and measures the results, the best way to test an ITS sensor is with it connected to the controller it is going to be used with and see if it produces the voltages as specified for that specific controller.

The same sensor is used with different controllers and have different voltage measurements.
