Hi Guys, I've just replaced my stock solenoid with an MZJ-400 (I already have the Navitas 440 controller).

All seems well.

I have used the diode that came with the solenoid but I kept the stock pre-charge resistor.

My questions is - should I have replaced the stock resistor with the new resistor?
