Thank you very much for the info. I found one online for $85 shipped. It baffles me I can get a complete distributor for a Chevy for close to the same price.

As far as timing goes, do you have any other ideas on why my cart is so slow. I seem to have resolved the backfiring issue before the pulsar broke. I can only get it up to 3-4 MPH. There is no governor on this cart. I have taken the carb completly apart and cleaned it. BBq the muffler(even ran without it). Both clutches seem to be working just fine. Whenever I go down heal, it feels like the engine skips a beat and slows down.
