It happened to my big block cart the last time I was in a hurry when I pulled a leaf spring.
Lloosen the u bolts and center it up! That is about the best I can guess.
I suppose that you could take some measurements from the rear axle to a point on the frame. but it is a golf cart, not a race car. i think if u center it on the bracket u will be fine
