If you order new brushes off amazon make sure you get the right set, best to pull the motor and check the size of the brushes before ordering I just went through this with a friends cart first set he ordered was listed for G29 but was not the correct size. Also while you have the motor apart use an air compressor to blow out all of the carbon buildup, and inspect your commutator and armature.

Thank you, I am getting ready to give this a shot. I saw a comment on a youtube video doing the brush replacement about replacing the commutator bearing while doing this, but I cant seems to find what that part number would be for the DM430-06A motor. Any ideas? also do think that is needed?
