My other pic didn't upload. It's just a 1/2" 45 coupling with a stick of 1/2" cut to just inside the body. I used the cutter to crimp it just enough that it should stay in place but if it gets hung up it will break away. Parts are less that 5.00 so if it breaks, what the heck. The actual exhaust on the muffler is within a fraction of 1/2 so I sanded it and used a deburring tool to shave the inside of the elbow just enough for a snug fit.
