Welcome.

If you have any "adjustment" it means you removed the bracket, and not just the FNR. The way I adjust mine is to place the FNR exactly halfway between F and R, which is Neutral. Then I slide the bracket side to side until the FNR handle is exactly straight up in N. Failure of the FNR to reach either F or R stops will result in overheating and a short-lived FNR.

Hopefully you bought a HD FNR?
