The 4 wire pot has 2 pairs. Test the short pair by connecting an ohm meter to the pair and depress the pedal. The meter should read 0-5000Ω. Now hold the second pair together. The meter reading should be reduced 50%. This connection is made by the reverse micro switch on the F&R.
Note that an Alltrax SR control has a different programmable reduced reverse feature that is active when battery (+) is present at the J1 blue terminal.
