Are you a former Edsel mechanic??? Based on this forum alone, it's a borderline pandemic. If what I fear is true, I just fried my second one - it's a crime that there's no TSB/recall equivalent from ClubCar as would be called for from DOT/NHTSA - if not on the speed sensor itself, then on the controllers (which all seem to be Curtis branded).
Has anyone ever appealed directly to Augusta, GA to get ClubCar's opinion? There should also be an easier way to diagnose the sensor with a multimeter or some way to troubleshoot the controller - though it also seems that Curtis did a poor job in their base program if it only ever spits out a faulty speed sensor...
