The only time I know of the rubbing noises, on the half dozen carts I have installed them on at the club, was the first movement after the cart sitting all night and only at the slow speeds like backing out of the garage. Some squeaking there, but it goes away for the rest of the days use. It is more prevalent on a cart used on the course and running on wet grass or in the rain. A little surface rust forms on the rotor and causes the squeaking until it gets cleaned off. Humidity is heavier here in Orlando, so more moisture in the air for the surface rust to form, rain or shine. My 2 cents
