Default Re: #90 Main Jet Drill Size

Don't know if this will help but here it is.. I did a 295 head on a 350 block and used the 350 carb. and jet. My compression jumped from 150 to 245. With such a drastic change, I had fuel volume issues and the jet was the problem. I had a 90 and didn't have anyway to gauge how much to overbore so I had to improvise. I used a set of torch tip cleaners to gently shave off and enlarge the bore of the jet. I found the closest one that would fit and gently removed material a little at a time. After each session I replaced the jet and did a test run until I achieved the desired flow. This way I didn't overbore. It was time consuming, but it worked and it didn't ruin the jet.... Hope this helps ya!!
