Default Re: #90 Main Jet Drill Size

Drilling and poking wires down your jets is all well and good but the damage you might achieve with this "poke and hope" method is rarely worth the price of admission. Running lean will cause your motor to potentially pre-detonate and /or burn out pistons or valves prematurely whilst the obverse will cause excessive carbon deposits, fouled plug/s and a myriad of other problems. Some very clever people got together and designed these engines to run at optimum conditions under the most strenuous conditions (If they didn't, they wouldn't have a reputation to uphold) Simplest test is check your spark plug colour after an honest run to simulate all normal conditions. A light to medium brown should indicate all is good with the fuel / air ratio. Darker is running rich which is preferable to light which would indicate a lean condition.
