Default Electric Mobility wheelchair

I dunno who can provide input on this, but I'm looking at an electric "wheelchair" that will meet some specific requirements I'm looking for.

A "trac" type one does not fit the bill, nor does a "fat tire" type.

These "chairs" are not cheap and run from $10-K up to $25-K.

I'm currently looking at one that is built using "MP-5" motors....AKA "Magic Pie 5" electric motors out of China. These motors are brushless, no-gear Hub motors.

My "want\need" is a chair that I can put on a commercial flight, in the USA and Europe, can handle stairs (not the 7" riser....but the longer 4" riser with maybe 36" flat part)....handle woods....handle some water.

There is always a trade off on these machines. The one's that can handle steep stairs and deeper water are heavier and (the big negative) cannot or will not "fit" on a commercial flight for various reasons.

The one I'm looking at now with the MP-5 hub motors has the controller inside the hub. That's great for a "where to put it" but it's very bad for going into water that's too deep. This unit runs off of two 48V 10aH LiFePO4 Batteries. The amp\hr isn't all that thrilling....but the unit only weighs 220-lbs.

Frames for these chairs run from those with suspension and those with a "link" type almost torsion bar ....no springs\shock suspensions.

I've been looking at something to fit the "bill" for over a year. This one is the closest .....but still has some drawbacks.

In any event, if anyone has input\experience on electric wheelchairs that their family\friends have used or have considered, input would be appreciated.
