I got my 16 HP Vanguard and cradle. I have gone back and fourth about how to start it. Like a car or like the existing cart. If I go with the alternator generator original way how do you mount the generator? It was bolted on the old motor (G-9). Do I fab up a separate bracket or try to weld it on the motor? (Dont like that idea much) Any pics from you guys who have crossed this path?
Any opinions about which way to go? I can see plusses and minuses to both but would like to hear from the experianced guys which is better and why.
