Default Re: Alternator/ generator mount?

One of the reasons I like the Vtwin setup with the starter tucked
is it simplified the whole engine powerplant issue..

It is/was a hassle pulling a motor from one of my carts, because of the mounting system and the stupid starter that has to come off separate..
I can pull my V twin all the way out and have it running on the bench in
five minutes.
When I am done, all I do is set in back in the cradle and I am set.

Can't do that with a Robin. You have to build a mount for it, to test it, so the
starter has a place to go.
AND it has to stay attached..!! and generating.
If I want , I can jump my briggs and it will run without the battery attached.

plus space is an issue in an EZ GO and a 23..
