Default Re: Front fork bushing removal

I made a removal tool out of a washer that I turned down to just under the size of the I.D. of the outer tube then flattened two sides so it could slip thru the bushing. I then installed this to a long 3/8 carriage bolt with a socket on the other end to use as a hammer to withdraw the bushing it seemed to work well.
Today I ordered four bushings from a local supply company that I am hoping will work to replace the old ones also ordered some hydraulic cylinder rod wipers I hope I can use to replace the seals.
Hope this helps.
