I would vote for 22" also, 20" are kinda an oddball size. I've had 20" tires on a 4" lifted cart and it looked goofy. I doubt you'll have any problems with a 500 amp controller or that you'll notice any big difference in run time between the two, in reality there's only an inch difference between the two from the center of the axle.
