Heres the thing...like spriddle said..whats the difference between this and running straight to the carb with the throttle cable. I really cant say because I have never done the carb mod. I can say that the spring did give us alot more speed by itself and it went even faster with the governer nut tightened. Next week we will radar it and see what the top speed is.
