Overkill, Thanks for appreciating our humor!
The 36v system as a whole is only a sum of its components.....
Therefore it is important to determine what condition each of the batteries are in and whether they are all matched or balanced ( the same)....
Most do this with a simple voltmeter and hydrometer.....
When all the 6 batteries are healthy and when connected in series readings as high as say 44v may be attained......36v would be flat ready for recharge. I hope this helps?
