Default G16 input shaft replacement

Back in may, while playing around on the dragstrip at Carolina Adventure World, the transmission input shaft snapped off inside the shaft bearing, and I finally got around to replacing it. With some help from Smallblock, everything seems to be working fine. It took me 3 tries to get the endplay/spacers correct, but by the 3rd time it was almost easy. When I first removed the cover, the counter shaft and reverese gear came with it. Reassembling it made putting in the shaft easier. And having a service manual helped alot. Also replaced the sheaves, ramps and put in a new stock spring. My old stock spring was compressed 1/2 - 3/4".

All I've done is drive it up and down the road a few times, but everything seems fine. I'll take it easy with it for awhile

Now I can start on the G22
