Thanks for reply. The batteries are brand new and have had a trip around the block before plugging in the charger. Don't they charge the batteries before shipment to the distributer? I have a gasser Yamaha 1988 golf cart that does 29.4 mph according to last check by my Yamaha dealer. I am disappointed by the slow speed of the club car 1998 Electric cart. Any way of upgrading to a faster speed. The previous owner said it has the high speed gears?? Tried clicking to find out more about electric carts on your signature and nothing happened??
