Here is a side by side of stock tubes (on top) with the snubber mount, and my modified version below. Compare the two, and you can see how the spring perch on the bottom is moved in some - in the stock location, the perch lines up perfectly with the snubber mount.

Here is the entire axle mounted mocked in place to get the spring perches tacked.

After welding and paint, I added new axle end bearings in the tubes, and made sure all the brakes were free. Here is the final product waiting for installation.

Then for the reinstall. Here is the 'business end' of why I'm doing this - Shift on the fly locking mechanism, right from Club Car. Here you see the cable bracket, switch lever and lock housing. In this shot I have everything bolted back together, just missing the rear brakes and the shifter mechanism.
