Default Re: G16 input shaft replacement

I have a similar problem. I didn't replace my input shaft, but I replaced the spring and seat with a torque kit. It worked great for a while, but now when I go to run reverse, it won't engage. Runs great in forward (and really does have a lot more torque) but when I go reverse, it is like it's in neutral. If I take the drive belt off, I can turn the sheaves by hand in reverse, and I feel an intermittent "click" like it wants to engage, but won't.
The shifter lever is moving and I am pretty sure it's moving as far as it is supposed to - I can't push it further by hand. So I am suspecting something in the transaxle.

How did you resolve your issue?

Ive tried the stock shim as well as the new shims that came.with the shaft but nothing seems to work. Has no problems going forward.. kinda run out ideas.. g16, jakes lift kit, new clutch disks, belt, and stiffer spring. Everything else is stock.
