Default Re: fuel problem

Let us know if it worked, same thing happens to a lot of cars on the road. A mechanic told this girl I know it will cost $500 to TRY, fix the same thing you are having. I told her first replace the fuel filter as it has never been replaced she said. It didnt fix it, so i told her to loosen the fuel cap all the way. It never shut off on her again while driving. Now did this fix the problem? No, but it helped aid in what direction she needs to look at. I told her to put the fuel cap tight and see if it shuts off again, but she said NO.
