You have to take and roll the old belt off the side of the driven clutch(the one on the rear end) while rotating all of it. Putting it on is the same only backwards. You put the belt on the drive clutch to start with, then you roll the belt on the driven clutch. not sure what model cart you have but on models with a 4 stroke engine you can put it in neutral. makes it easier to spin the clutches
