Skoal is correct, The Marathon Gassers all had Coil in the rear, Leaf in the front. An old trick to stiffen them up for cargo boxes, seats, etc is to swap out the stock shocks for a set of Heavy-Duty Coilover shocks, when installed in addition to the stock springs they add enough to compensate for the weight as well as You can adjust the preload to dial them in *to an extent* ...
