This is the 18 amp charge coil. You can understand the need for the 4 magnet flywheel. These are the parts I used in my Micro Truck" - with a digital volt gauge in the dash, my day time voltage my go as high as 14.4 but night time full lights 13.0. I used the factory wire guard and bolt because of the special length. The bolts that hold the stator coil are special to -- the threads cut special and torque just fine but will not vibrate loose. I'm using a Kolher 20 amp rectifier that is fan cooled so I mounted it in my air shroud cover.
