It would be good if you also update to 2-4 guage cables, adding a much higher HP motor with large diameter tires and high lift kit maybe? Most find the DCX500 to be for swamp buggies and lifted carts etc and much cheaper in price. The rated one hour 250 amps is the same for both 500 and 600 DCX controllers.
Remember a controller alone will not give you a super charged cart without adding many other items ( motor, cables, etc )
