I did check the a arms. the left one was bent (just a little). I straightened it to match the right side. I think I did a pretty good job of it, if I do say so myself, and I do!

I have replaced the spring and put on new shocks. I have examined the spindles and they seem fine. (Repacked wheel bearings while I was there).

So, I think the parts are all OK,it is just a matter of getting BOTH wheels to stand up straight, not just the right side one.

Thanks for the input. I will look more closely at some of the other frame areas you mentioned.
