Two things to check.
1. There’s a spring on the park lever, make sure it’s not broken.
2. The blocks that the brake pedal pivots on can wear and allows the brake pedal and park brake latch assembly to move toward the rear of the cart a bit. If the blocks are worn replace them.
The gas pedal does have a rubber stop back at the end of the return spring and those can wear out and cause this but if either of the other two are an issue, fix those before adjusting the gas pedal.
