Post Yamaha drive solenoid won’t engage until pedal is released

I work for a small golf cart repair shop. At the moment we have two Yamaha drive carts (48v) in the shop that won’t run. The first cart came in on Monday and another tech attempted to diagnose it. He replaced the motor, controller, key switch, both foot pedal sensors, and the solenoid. The battery’s are fully charged and have the full 52v of a fresh charge. The reverse buzzer sounds when the F/R switch is put in reverse. The solenoid clicks on and off when the tow/run switch is flipped to run and when you turn the key to the on position, but it doesn’t click on when you push the accelerator down. When you release the pedal and it pushes the plunger switch back in the solenoid clicks on and clicks back off. We have two carts from two different customers that are doing this same exact thing. Is there anything I’m missing? Is this a common problem for the Yamaha drives as they start to get older? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
