It's pretty unlikely, especially given the fact that you're sticking with stock drive parts. Larger cables usually equal more torque and not speed, but resistor carts are characteristically torque monsters anyhow. They're not known for their great accomplishments in the field of speed, but torque is their redeeming factor.
