Removing the governor will make the cart faster (in conjunction with the limiter) but it's hardly worth the effort when a zip tie will achieve the same thing. Zip ties are also easily removed when your your young ones want to ride the cart and easily replaced when you want to ride a little faster. A bent paper clip will do the trick as well
