Default Re: Gas selection for 2019 Yamaha PTV Drive 2 gas cart

Thanks for the help. I was somewhat taken aback by the suggestion to run 91 octane in a new golf cart. I did notice that Yamaha recommended gas stabilizer in the unleaded fuel. My local station has no-ethanol fuel, so will likely use that.It works better in my Thunderbird SE motorcycle. Whoever suggested putting ethanol in fuel should be shot. :- Must be the same guy who moved the lights dimmer switch to the steering wheel. Will run no-ethanol regular in the cart. Again, thanks for the help.

PS: Tests on ethanol in Georgia showed 0 to as much as 31% ethanol in some gas stations! Another reason to avoid ethanol if you can. It IS great for dissolving seals, picking up water like a sponge and rusting old metal tanks and a good number of motorcycle tanks. It even dissolved plasticizers in plastic tanks. Not good.
