If you go for a new motor, stay away from the stock Hitachi and go with a more robust aftermarket motor.

Ok i have pulled the motor out and it clean ...so its been apart before...The armature spins really freely with no sound of rubbing from the brushes at all, if i push the back of the brushes it slows the spinning considerably ...Ill post some pics ..

Not sure what the commutator is or looks like?..Ok i just googled it lol...thats the end where the brushes run...Well this one is black and all scared i guess you would call it..
