We had a Pro-Fit 5" lift kit put on our Golf Cart and it is making an odd noise when we lift up on the accelerator and let it just naturally decline in speed.
There are a couple different noises going on; one is the noise of the bigger/all terrain tires, which is normal. The second noise sounds like the axels slowing the cart down when I lift up on the accelerator which also seems normal. But the 3rd noise is what we can't figure out... It almost sounds like a mixture of a knocking/ringing noise. We brought it to a person who fixes golf carts and he said he never heard that noise before. He thought maybe it was the front plate knocking/rubbing so we took it off but it still makes the noise.

Has anyone had this problem? Wondering if it's the lift kit. This is the first golf cart we have had so when I purchased the lift kit, didn't know which kind to buy but have since been scolded for not buying a Jakes lift kit. Wondering if I need to buy a new lift kit.
