Cant see much in the pic, but that looks like it could be a gas rear end? not a converted electric.

To check clutches just put on jack stands, run thru the rpm's, as rpm's come up front clutch should compress and rear clutch should compress.
If the clutch's are week under a load the belt will slip, squeal .


I 2nd the motion to check the end of the axles and hubs 1st!

All you have to do is pull the brake drums off and look at the splines.
